This painting was done in 1998 by Paul and Chris Calle. In this painting we can see the blue sky, some trees in the back, the capitol building, three flags of the united states, three stamps, and three women who are wearing some type of uniform with the colors of the American flag. The flags represent that they were fighting for the women in the country. One of the stamps says "Votes for women" which for me means that they were protesting because they could not vote. I think that these three women were dressed the same because this showed that they were all equal. This painting relates to the Women´s Rights Movement because it shows women who were protesting for equal rights.
